Cheyenne Depot Days trip May 20


…..Invite you to join us for a charter bus trip to Cheyenne Depot Days on Saturday, May 20, 2017. The trip will offer transportation from two locations in the Denver area to Cheyenne, where shuttles connect the 3 activity sites: Cheyenne Depot Museum, Union Pacific Shop Complex, and the Sherman Hill Model Railroad Club swap meet. And there may even be some railroad activity in the area……bring your cameras.


Including Big Boy 4014 restoration, Challenger 3985, UP 844 (displayed outside), and a host of other Union Pacific equipment. Model railroad enthusiasts will enjoy the swap meet as well as the Depot model RR layout.

The Arrow Stage Lines motor coach will leave RTD’s I-25 & Broadway park and ride at 9:00 AM and RTD’s Wagon Road (120th & I-25) park and ride about 9:15 AM. Return trip will leave Cheyenne at 4:00 PM, arriving in Denver area between 5:30 and 6:00 PM.

The fare for sponsoring organization members is $29, which includes event admission wristband. Non-members fare is $39 (including wristband) with complimentary memberships in both organizations through the end of 2017, permitting membership rates for future excursions this year.

PLEASE INCLUDE: names of passengers, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. And please email trip chairperson when you mail your check so we can keep track of the passenger count. This trip is expected to sell out due to the coming availability to all of our local rail-oriented organizations. The sponsoring groups get first pick so don’t delay! You snooze, you lose! And please list which sponsoring group(s) in which you hold membership(s). All payments must be received by May 13, 2017!

The bus is a great way to avoid traffic and parking hassles since there will be another major event in Cheyenne on May 20.
